We, all live in a consumer driven world as the product development and innovation at a lightning pace- for staying relevant manufacturers need to be able to keep with the new pace. The generation age and age and leaving a sizeable skills gap in a work-force. Manufacture need to work with schools and universities in their communities to ensure that manufacturing focused are well promoted and got taught.
Manufacturers can no longer afford to think about their systems, the labor force in the same way. It’s time to innovate and figure out new ways to get job done better. The millennial generation is more than 77 million strong. With proper training and recruitment efforts in place, this generation can help usher in a new era in the manufacturing industry. Internet enabled machines are here and these are powerful.
Many our Indian industries tried for stand up but due to lack of competitive prices the cant stand up. This may have further continuing the lack of technology and lack of adaptability.
If there are connected machines- the primary components are to be the backbone of the industry in the future.  There is a critical need to hire people who can give more bits and bite off information and the work done for customers to use the data to improve equipment performance and revenue streams. By manufacturing industries that are leading the digital in the upcoming five years across all the industrial sectors. In this sweepstakes, industrial manufactures often find themselves a disadvantage when trying to attract, retain talent.
